The debate of best name in college football is an annual one. We often see all-name lists created in the media as folks pass the slow time during the offseason.
This year is no different, with players like Kool-Aid McKinstry and Decoldest Crawford making everyone's list. But they now have a bit of competition.
A freshman wide receiver at Defiance College is making headlines for his unique first name as he preps for his second season in Ohio. Da’Realyst Clark shined during the 2022-23 campaign for the Yellow Jackets, earning first-team all-conference honors while also being named the school's male newcomer of the year.
In that debut season, he hauled in 17 receptions for 278 yards and a pair of touchdowns while also scoring twice on kick returns and tallying 720 return yards.
While Defiance won just three games, Clark was a major piece of the offensive and special teams units.
Now, he's looking to keep the momentum going in Year 2, and he's already getting some attention from fans online.
You guys:

He has to be a top college football name lock at this point.
While he's getting most of the attention for his unique name, hopefully it brings some eyes to Da’Realyst Clark's game, which should only get better as he continues his college career.
Clark and the Yellow Jackets kick off the 2023 season on September 2nd against Mount Union.
